The Oracle Whispers: Whispered from the Oracle Within

I have been a writer for most of my life. I love writing. I love inspiring others. I wrote mostly poetry, particularly throughout my childhood and teenage years. As I grew into adulthood, my writing evolved and expanded, with songs, non-fiction and fiction stories, greeting cards, workshops, inspirational content, spiritual content, pendulum boards, pendulum game and oracle card decks.
It is a rarity to find me without pen and paper, everywhere I go, for you never know when some sort of inspiration is going to be whispered in my ear or pop into my heart. Funnily enough, there have been many times when I have awoken at around 3:33am with inspiration that I just simply had to get down on paper. So, whether it is on my bedside table or out travelling around somewhere, I have learnt to always have a pen and notebook of some size with me at all times.
About 26 years ago, my life changed forever. I re-opened up to my spiritual side after hiding it away for around 13 years. The oracle within me was immerging and breaking free. I was constantly hearing my own oracle whispers, telling me it’s time. It was exciting and amazing, I felt alive. But I still kept it a secret from most people for quite some time, because of the stigma that still surrounded the spiritual world at the time. I was worried about what they would think. So, I suppressed it for a little longer.
LOL! Big mistake that was. The more I tried to suppress my spirituality, the more prominent it became in my everyday life and the louder the oracle whispers within became. About 16 years ago I stopped worrying about other people and started embracing who I was always meant to be — an oracle myself.
My writing took on an incredible life of its own. The wisdom within me was flowing like never before. I have created many new and amazing inspirational works, which I now get to publish and share with the world. I love sharing it in groups as well, for then I get to share the raw emotions of my writing with people in person and witness their heartfelt reactions to my words. It’s a magical thing to witness, when someone else feels so deeply the words you wrote.
The oracle within me is always whispering things to me and this is how my first oracle deck has come about — ‘The Oracle Whispers’.
I was sitting on my swing-chair near the garden one day and poetry popped into my head. It was not a normal poem; in fact, it was not even one poem. It was a number of small 4-line poems. I thought that was odd, but trusting myself and my inner oracle, I just let it flow until no more came (for now). I asked my oracle what was this all about.
The reply was, “These are whispers for you to share with the world.”
As time went on, the oracle whispered when she felt that I was ready to listen for more. All together it has been a 3-year process, as the oracle has allowed me to deal with life along the way for which I was eternally grateful. Over that time, it was clear that this beautiful deck, came in 3 parts; a 4-line poem, a message of power words for each poem, and an expanded meaning for each poem. Then there came the time when the oracle said I was done, and before me in my own handwriting was 44 poems along with its meanings and words. It was like a breath of fresh air when I had finished. I felt as light as a feather and my heart was filled with such joy and gratitude for the gift of words I held in my hands and heart.
The final step was to get it published. Without putting much effort into looking for a publisher, the Oracle Queen Publishing company, literally fell into my lap. This was meant to be, I thought. Then the final steps in the journey of The Oracle Whispers began.
